An active owner in long-term industrial development
Schörling is an active investment company established in 1999, with a focus on long-term industrial development. Its portfolio comprises eight companies: Hexagon, AAK, ASSA ABLOY, Octave, Anticimex, HEXPOL, Securitas and Beijer Ref. Octave and Beijer Ref were added to the portfolio in 2026, with the investment in Beijer Ref made after the half-year reporting date.
Schörling seeks to create long-term value through active ownership and support of its portfolio companies. At the same time, the company remains open to new investments in both listed and unlisted businesses with significant development potential and a strong focus on sustainability.
UIE has been a shareholder in Schörling since 2004 and currently holds a 1.8% interest in the company.
